Regular request from end users regarding action creation is for the ability to review/approve actions prior to them being issued.

Ie: Similar to the workflow functionality, where an event may be sent via a reviewer/approver to ensure the entered information and findings are correct.

It has been requested that upon creation of an action – could a workflow or similar be triggered, where the action must be reviewed and released by a supervisor or nominated person.

With all action management systems – there is a reliance on the end user having the conversation with the action owner, to ensure owner / details / due dates are correct.

Having an integrated approval process to release the action would resolve the issue.
