When using Event Management or Group Bookings can we add number of seats required, further overbooking the requested flight?

The reason for this request is currently you can only hold seats that are available, therefore we use hold booking profile's to further overbook flights as we know seats reduce naturally over the time leading up to the day of travel.

To avoid this, if we could hold them in the Event and or Group Booking then hold profiles aren't needed and the seats are held overbooked, eliminating the option for other people to book on as seats free up. The intent is held overbookings would then move to confirmed in the event as time comes closer too day of travel.
