To ensure that monitoring runs are not missed and we are not duplicating effort in the system, we request that a scheduler is put into the application. We would like the Preserve system to generate monitoring runs based on the recommended frequency and details from the monitoring program.

This should include: a start date, an end date, the ability to pick a frequency, the ability to dictate how many days it takes to complete the monitoring run, the ability to allow this to be put to certain days (Monday, Tuesday, etc.) and week of the month if the frequency is high enough. Back to backs also need to be considered/catered for.

Email notifications should be sent; when the monitoring run is scheduled/assigned, overdue, missed monitoring runs and potentially a notification on each status. Statuses could include; scheduled, in progress, overdue, missed, sampling complete and lab complete, completed.

We need the ability to see this in a scheduled view, potentially in a calendar and we need the ability to report on and see, when a monitoring run should have been scheduled for, any missed runs and any missed sampling.
